Slab Systems
  1. After preparing your excavation (see excavation on preceding page), draw an arrow with chalk along the stone's longest dimension. This will make the assembly easier to follow.
  1. Place the stones with the arrows forming a circle.
  1. Continue forming the circular patterns with the stones and join the circles together.
  1. Fill in remaining areas to complete the pattern.
  1. Some of the edges may need to be cut to create a straight edge.
  1. Between the slabs, fill in the joints with stabilizing sand using a push broom. You can treat the surface with a sealer to ensure protection against stains and spills.
