

- After preparing your excavation (see excavation on preceding page), draw an arrow with chalk along the stone's longest dimension. This will make the assembly easier to follow.
- Place the stones with the arrows forming a circle.
- Continue forming the circular patterns with the stones and join the circles together.
- Fill in remaining areas to complete the pattern.
- Some of the edges may need to be cut to create a straight edge.
- Between the slabs, fill in the joints with stabilizing sand using a push broom. You can treat the surface with a sealer to ensure protection against stains and spills.
